Jonesing for Golf, When Will the Winter End?

Hawaii Golf -3The fall and winter months in the northeast and even the south are cramping my style with golf. I try to play golf all year around whenever possible but this year is nearly impossible to play between the snow and the severe tempertures we are experiencing as of late. I have a good mind to plan a trip and lug my golf clubs down south but from what I’ve seen the weather is not much better there. It’s been so cold on the east coast, even in the south, that the lizards are falling off the palm trees and dying in areas where they usually thrive in the tropic climates in Florida, Georgia and the other southern states.

I have an excellent suggestion. Hawaii is always a good place for golf so why not pack up our bags and get away for a few days? Well for one thing the cost is top dollar and it is not easy to get the time off from work. Other than that what is standing in our way? It’ nice to dream isn’t it? Hopefully some good weather is around the corner and we will be able to take out our golf clubs and hit the links soon. While we may not be able to play in Hawaii right now I am making it my goal to be there for my 60th birthday in a couple of years. How about joining me on the links in Hawaii in 2012? Happy Golfing to All?
