Tiger’s Troubles Continue
When I first heard about the incident with Tiger Woods regarding the car accident and Elin going after him with his golf clubs I thought it might just be a typical heavy duty argument over his dalliances. I figured it would blow over in a few weeks and his sponsors would stick by him. Now that the media has gotten hold of the story and a number of women, I think about nine to date have come forward regarding his infidelity to Elin , it has opened up a whole new can of worms.
Tiger may be paying a much heavier price than he ever imagined for what has transpired recently. Gatorade has pulled the plug on their sponsorship, noting that they are making way for new products. Even if that were the case, don’t you think they would want to keep Tiger’s name in the picture as he was a good draw to their product for any sports fans, at least he was before the incident occurred last week. I don’t know how this will play out but he definitely has his work cut out for him to make amends to his wife, his family, the PGA Tour, his sponsors and his many fans around the world.
