Tiger Woods – The Way They Were
Tiger Woods had it all, a wonderful family, notable friends, top rated sponsors, and all the money he would ever need. His indiscretions have cost him dearly in the eyes of all the people he cherishes most. It is good to see that he sought help for his illness and the healing has begun. Elin is a seemingly forgiving person and I’m sure she is also thinking of her children and trying to keep the family together.
It seems each day another women comes forward to ignite the situation all over again. The best medicine for Tiger Woods is to take his golf clubs in hand and start to get back in form for the pending Accenture and The Masters which will be upon us before you know it. Happy Golfing to All!
If the latest tabloid rumors are true Tiger may be returning to golf as early as the the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, Arizona at the end of February. He should be winding up in rehab as Elin is supposed to be picking him up from the Pine Grove, Hattiesburg clinic shortly.
It will be good to see him returning to golf as he has been sorely missed by his golf fans around the world. Hitting golf balls is where he belongs as his march to destiny continues at the Masters this coming April. He now has 14 major championships under his belt and only four more to tie Jack Nicklaus’s incredible record of 18 majors. I wish Tiger the best on his road back and look forward to seeing him in competition again. Happy Golfing to All!
It appears as if Elin has joined Tiger Woods in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to participate in his treatment for sex addiction. She was supposedly present in the room when he was confessing his affairs, including names of all females he had relationships with as part of his rehabilitation process.
It now appears the count is up to 19, which is quite incredible that he found the time and the energy for that amount of women given his hectic golf schedule. It is also truly an tremendous amount of forgiveness that is being asked of his spouse Elin. I hope this all works out, not only for his sake but also for the sake of his golf fans around the world. Is this truly an act of love and forgiveness on Elin’s part or is she looking to re-write his iron clad pre-nup so she can benefit from a larger settlement in the future? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. The world’s best golfer needs his golf clubs and he should be hitting golf balls as soon as possible to take his mind off this unfortunate situation. Tiger Woods is tied up in rehab indefinitely so why wait the entire season waiting for his return? There are too many other good players waiting to take the lead in his absense. Phil Mickelson has also been inconspicuously missing for the past few weeks as the 2010 season begins in Hawaii. He may be tending to family business whereby as most of you are aware his wife Amy and his mom were both stricken with cancer at the end of last season. It is as good a reason as any to be away from tour and I applaud him for his dedication to wife and family for that should very well be his top priority.
Hopefully Tiger and Phil will both be back soon and playing the game they love. The golf fans sorely miss the competition between the world’s two best players. Hopefully they will return soon. I am looking forward to both of them coming back to true form, hitting golf balls and playing a game that they love, GOLF! What more can I say,? but Happy Golfing to All!
Tiger is being treated for his sex addiction in a clinic in Mississippi at the request of his wife Elin and maybe by choice?. If anyone has a right to make that request it is Elin. They now have two children together and a reconcilliation would be a step in the right direction on Tiger’s road back into the good graces of his family, friends, fans, sponsors and the PGA Tour.
It appears as if Tiger will be in rehab a bit longer than anyone may have surmised. A program for alcohol or drug addiction is usually 30 to 60 days and then the patient is supposedly cured, at least for the time being. This program for sex addiction may require participation and dedication for upwards of three to five years. This is a serious situation for the world’s finest golf athlete. As noted in prior posts Tiger should be hitting golf balls and not worrying about salvaging his marriage. Happy Golfing to All!
Tiger Woods enetring rehab in Gentle Path was a first step in the right direction to salvage any possibility of a reconcilliation with Elin. If he really has a sex addiction illness and they realize they still love each other then there is always hope. If his treatment is successful he may be heading home and starting to hit golf balls again soon.
It looks like the Enquirer was the first tabloid or magazine of any type to get a photo of Tiger looking a bit scruffy and more like a homeless person than a world renowned golfer. But that is just the beginning of his march to the Masters. Once out of rehab he has a big decision to make. Will he take some time off to heal his relationships with his family and friends, or will he be determined to further his goal of matching and beating Jack Nicklaus’s 18 majors record? He is close with 14 but any time off from golf will make it that much harder to accomplish. I think Tiger will make a comeback and hopefully soon as he did when he returned after his knee surgery sidelined him for almost nine months just last year. It has finally been determined that Tiger Woods is in a re-hab clinic in Mississippi for sex addiction. Is this a real effort on the part of Tiger to cure himself of his demons or is it a strategic ploy prompted by his management team to give him an out for his outrageous behavior?
I hope for his sake that he is truly seeking help for his problem. I can somewhat understand if this had been a one time fling but with the amount of women coming forward regarding Tiger’s indiscretions it surely indicates a problem more severe than an overload of testosterone.
As he recovers in Pine Grove Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi I hope he brought along his golf clubs with the rest of his golf equipment. Hopefully he will use them to stay in shape for an early return to competition on the PGA Tour which is where he belongs. Happy Golfing to All!

deaway in Africa, in Florida near his home, or maybe on Long Island at a friends estate who is offering him refuge from the media circus surrounding him as of late.
It is surreal that this situation has occurred to a person of his stature and notoriety. But it only goes to show you that we are all human and anyone is subject to the frailties of humankind. I hope wherever he may be hiding out he is with golf clubs in hand and hitting golf balls to prepare for the season ahead. Good luck Tiger and Happy Golfing to All!
Rumors are swirling that Tiger Woods has been seen with Rachel Uchitel over the holidays. Can it be that Tiger is serious about his relationship with her and what is the status of his relationship with Elin? Can it be his four year marriage to Elin, resulting in two children, is over? We can only speculate what the future holds for the supertar of the modern era of golf.
There is also the possibilty that Rachel is with child if you believe the latest tabloid predictions. If his turns out to be true Tiger will no doubt be locked into another relationship whether it is of his choosing or not. I’ve said it before and I’ll reiterate it now, Tiger would be better off hitting golf balls and returning to the game he loves as soon as possible. It appears his rise to superstardom over the last dozen years or so was too much for him to handle as he let these women dictate his path instead of the other way around. If he wanted this lifestyle, it would have been OK had he not gotten married to Elin and had two children with her. It is now 2010 so let’s see what the future holds for Tiger. The latest development in the Tiger Woods saga was noted in Star Magazine this past week. There is a possibility that Rachel Uchitel, one of the young women Tiger had a fling with, is pregnant. There are also claims that they have both expressed their love for one another but was that in the heat of the moment or is it truly how they feel? Either way, if this rumor turns out to be true, Tiger’s return to golf could be delayed indefinitely and any hope for a reconciliation with Elin will surely be unlikely in the future.
So what is the world’s premier golfer to do? Hopefully the pregnancy rumor will turn out to be just that and Tiger will be able to commence on the road back to rebuilding his image, his career, making amends with the PGA, his sponsors, his family and friends and concentrating once again on his golf game. Getting out on the links and hitting golf balls will be the best medicine for Tiger right now. I wish him the best on his journey back for as I’ve stated previously he will be sorely missed by his fans and the golfing community until he returns to the game he loves, golf!
